Please know that a vision insurance policy is not the same as health insurance. Regular health insurance plans usually cover eye injuries or disease. Vision insurance, on the other hand, is a wellness benefit designed to provide vision care and prescription eyewear at a reduced cost. They provide complementary, but not the same, benefits to their members.
Because we provide both medical and vision care, we accept a number of insurance plans to help cover the cost depending on your individual needs.
We accept assignment and participate with VSP, Medicare, MVP, and CDPHP. We will also file claims for you with virtually all major medical plans, but we certainly cannot guarantee your coverage. Ultimately, you the patient are responsible for payment of services rendered in our office.
